Wilderness Solutions follows the guide training and safety protocols of the American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE), National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and Search and Rescue Incident Command System (SAR/ISC).

Our hiking tours are private,  customizable, and provide a true local's perspective accommodating all skill levels. 

Average tour: 2-3 hours

Pick-up and drop-off available.

Our private snowshoe tours include snowshoes, poles, water, and snacks (or charcuterie upon request). Pick-up and drop-off available. 

Tours are conveniently close to town in the wilderness of the Wasatch Back.  Average tour: 2-3 hours

Course is designed for the entry-level beginner, never ever before student, and a pre-requisite to our lift-assisted backcountry travel course. For students pursuing an AIARE level 1, this course is an excellent intro and prep.

Detail-oriented course focusing on the dynamics of companion rescue.
